My Crypto Journey Begins: What I Hope to Learn in 2026

This is my first post here, and I’m excited to start sharing my journey into the world of cryptocurrency.
I’ve been interested in crypto for a while, but I’m still learning. There are so many things to understand — Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, wallets, DeFi, Web3, staking, trading, and much more.
Rather than pretending to be an expert, I want to use this account to document what I learn along the way.
Why I’m Interested in Crypto
One thing that interests me about cryptocurrency is the idea of having more control over digital assets.
Traditional financial systems can sometimes make sending and receiving money complicated, especially across countries. Crypto introduces another way of transferring and storing value using blockchain technology.
But I also understand that crypto comes with significant risks.
Prices can change very quickly, scams are common, and losing access to a wallet can mean losing access to your funds. That’s why I believe learning and doing proper research are more important than simply chasing quick profits.
What I Want to Learn
As I continue my journey, I want to learn more about:
- Bitcoin and how it works
- Different types of cryptocurrencies
- Crypto wallets and private keys
- Stablecoins
- Blockchain technology
- DeFi and Web3
- How to identify legitimate crypto projects
- Common crypto scams and how to avoid them
- Safe ways to manage crypto assets
I also want to share useful things I discover with other beginners who may be starting their own journey.
My Goal
My goal isn't to become rich overnight.
I want to build genuine knowledge first.
Hopefully, by documenting my progress here, I can look back months from now and see how much I've learned. I also hope to meet other people in the Steemit community who are interested in cryptocurrency and can share their experiences and knowledge.
