5 Signs a Coin is About to Pump in 2025 (From Someone Who Caught 3 Small 10x–20x This Year)

- Sudden Dev Activity Explosion on GitHub (24–48h spike)
Look at the project’s GitHub in the last 7 days.
If commits went from 2–3 per week to 30+ overnight and the code actually does something useful (not just readme edits), it’s a massive green flag. Whales watch GitHub harder than Twitter. - Top Holders Stop Selling + New Big Wallets Start Buying
Go to DexScreener or Arkham Intelligence → “Top Holders” tab.
When the biggest 10 wallets stop dumping for 5–7 days straight AND 1–2 brand-new wallets (created in the last 30 days) start accumulating 3–10% of supply, the pump usually starts within 72 hours. - Volume Jumps 300–1000% While Price Is Still Flat or Only +20%
This is the “smart money accumulation” phase.
Example: $500k → $3M daily volume in 48 hours, but price only moved from $0.0008 to $0.001. That’s institutions loading before the breakout. - Influencers Start Posting “I’m researching this…” (but not shilling yet)
When 3–5 mid-tier accounts (50k–200k followers) suddenly post “Just found this hidden gem, doing DD” without dropping the name or contract, 90% of the time the name leaks 12–24 hours later and it moons. Set alerts for those accounts! - Token Unlock or CEX Listing Leaked 3–10 Days Early
