Youtube Does Not Seem To Do Anything To Stop The Crypto Livestream Scam Giveaways

You have probably seen this before on Youtube. A respectable public figure more or less connected to the cryptosphere is doing a live giveaway.

Basically all you have to do is send a certain amount of Bitcoin, Ethereum etc and you will get double the amount back. Sounds too good to be true? Well, because it is an obvious scam.

The problem is however that for people that are new to crypto it's really easy to fall for these. Another problem is that Youtube doesn't seem to do so much to stop these livestreams. They are constantly popping up even being top recommended videos for people.

Now, if you are someone who has been involved in the space for quite some time, you might think that there is no way that someone could be idiot enough to be scammed like this.

But... what about the new people? Imagine someone who just bought 0.1 BTC, seeing a livestream and believing the giveaway is for real getting scammed. He is probably going to start of with a pretty bleak picture of what crypto is all about and maybe even give up too soon. And that is not good for anyone.

So...Youtube, any help?
