I was offline all day, just getting in. I checked my charts and exchanges and see all the RED bleeding out, which happens as we know.
The key is to remain calm, use your charts and look for trends and answers.

I regularly interact with LiteCoin founder Charlie Lee on the Twitter: He is super active on there! I started my post tonite, then went to see his page and honestly, I was right on point with what he was saying too:
1 Month Chart: Bitcoin. She goes up. She goes down. It's the Crypto Life folks, but look at the TREND: She goes up all the time! We will be OK.
All Time / Lifetime LTC chart: She goes up. She goes down... again, Life in Crypto. This is the market and life and again, look at the tail end - we are UP. All time highs territory again right now.
I just love LiteCoin and am always rooting for it! It means so much, to so many - for so many reasons!!
Let's remain calm, use reason, charts, numbers and trends.
Pay attention to facts affecting news but avoid the rash decisions , FUD and FOMO.

I'd bet all my bitcoins it was a group of whales, pushed a bunch of stuff up, waited for buys to get in, and cashed in the profits....
It could be.
I always remind people newer than me, this space is still really ....new - if you think about it and as such, the markets can be moved by a few things or people with some leverage.
Move = Manipulate.
The words can be the same but the 2nd one holds powerful reminders.
Best advice I ever found about trading: "Buy into weakness and sell into strength. Don't just move with the market."

Remain calm, remember the fundamentals of the coin you invested in. It did have good fundamentals right? Try to research and get a good feel for what a coin is all about.

It's not as bad as it looks... first of all, we're comparing all these alt coins to a rising BTC (not USD) so ANYthing not keeping up with BTC will have the appearance of going backwards. Besides, every alt coin went to the moon yesterday... and now are just falling back to where they were a couple of days ago.
But then, I'm not a short term trader...

I was moving some stuff around yesterday and today... basically getting my VIVA wallet situated by transferring in some remaining microbits I have scattered around. Poloniex had me spooked enough today, that I even transferred out all my BTC and turned it into VIVA VIP (my retirement pool).
All I have left on Poloniex now is LTC. I'm betting the SegWit activation countdown - right at 15 hours to go as of this comment - is going to jack up the price as the time dwindles. Fingers crossed I'm reading the tea leaves correctly...

Thanks! I've not got that much invested, so it's a minimal risk if I hodl. Mostly, I'm testing out my ability to semi-accurately read the market. So far so good... in the meantime, I'll be monitoring the moves. I think it's going to get interesting.

IDK as much about mining as some people but the power needed to mine effectively a coin like that, with the volume and back history as long as it has means you will not have enough power to mine it IMHO.
