The Beginning of the End? #Cryptocurrent

This is the first and possibly last time I ever post here. My name is not David. But for the love of pseudonyms...It is nice to meet you, call me David.

Welcome to the realm of the cryptocurrent. A mad dog unleashed by blockchain technology. Where market caps fluctuate with euphoric and invective tides, and new mind-bending ideas become realized each and every day. A time where the apprentice guy is the POTUS, and Bitcoin might take over the world. Strange times... after all, the twilight zone is always airing somewhere.

I am stupefied and marveled at the grand vision of the blockchain; and like a true sci-fi thriller, the satire of the current corrupt system is becoming more apparent with every flip of the page. How Orwellian? I don't know about you, but I am ensconced in the thrill of what is to come. I am no wizard at tech or an arbiter of earthly futures. I am merely a spectator who knows enough to be dangerous to himself and others. So why should you listen to me? I take it that you are spectating too. I read white papers regularly and listen with a special interest for the science hidden in the figures, the ghost in the machine, who ultimately takes over. I approach this as a common man curious how the swirling growth of this market will affect common modalities.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from a major university in Texas. I practice at a pediatric emergency dept. as a critical care nurse. I am a normal person by most standards. But will we be normal in the future? While attending a Wanchain conference in Austin, TX, I heard Dustin Byington (President of Wanchain) state that cryptocurrency is in the first 5 minutes of 24 hours. This metric manifested the idea that we will most likely be considered the early adopters of a world phenomena.

It doesn't take a virtuoso to see the capabilities in decentralizing information, now that it has partially played itself out on the world stage. In the early days of the 1970's with the advent of the internet corridor, the first email was sent by Ray Tomlinson to himself as a test via the clandestine DoD (Department of Defense) project named the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network, or ARPANET for short. In 1981 the BITNET was created and connected two computers, one at City University of New York and the other at Yale University. BITNET originally stood as an acronym translating to "Because it's There Network." Shortly after, it was colloquially ordaned as the "Because it's Time Network." And in 1995 an IPO went public to right the wrongs of the Mosaic web browser and it's untimely stifled vision. The IPO was NETSCAPE, and it lit the world on fire. Allowing the common folk to access a realm once shrouded in mystery. It was a new dimension of the 20th century. And just as the age of enlightenment bridged the renaissance to modern times, this newly discovered arcade coupled imaginations across the expanse of all time. This technology was the first cold plank of lumber in the coffin of centralized network information systems controlled by the asphyxiating grip of the putrid power mob of corporations and governments. In 2009 Satoshi Nakamoto released the whitepaper for Bitcoin. The Brainchild of decades of research, dreams, and failed innovations of the "cypherpunks." And when the distributed ledger went live, it knighted blockchain as the final golden nail in the coffin.

If knowledge is power, money pays for it. Cryptocurrency is just the beginning. Blockchain is cracking ajar the sepulcher of knowledge once forgotten...We The People. Lux et veritas.

Welcome to the Revolution. I just invited myself.

Yours Truly,
David
