Swarm City - Give Credit where Credit is Due - One of the most incredible stories in the Cryptosphere!

Life is full of news stories that are all about someone or group of people doing the WRONG thing. Just turn the news on TV or read a newspaper and you are guaranteed to hear about some dictator abusing their citizens or a politician caught in corruption or a greedy business involved in fraud or criminals committing acts of selfishness for their own greedy gain at the expense of others. Even the crypto world has been plagued by such stories since its inception up until this day.

That is why when a story like this comes along, I MUST give credit where credit is due!
If you haven't read about this, I highly encourage you to read about how a group of "white-hat hackers" (they are hackers who use their skills for good) was actually able to stop an in-progress robbery of millions of dollars in ETHER by beating the hackers to their targeted weak spot, taking the funds and keeping them safe until they could be returned to their rightful owners.

That in and of itself is a REMARKABLE story of good overcoming evil within the crypto community!
However, there is a secondary part to this story which I believe many people missed that is just as encouraging for humanity and the cryptosphere.

It turns out that one of the very first victims of the Ethereum Parity wallet hack was Swarm City who ended up losing 90%-95% of their capital funds raised during ICO. In fact, it was Swarm City who first alerted the white-hat hacker group which enabled the rescue operation of many other cryptocurrency's funds.

For all the talk about how these crypto ICO's are just grabbing money and don't really intend on developing anything of value for society (I'm sure there are some cryptos out there in this category). Here is a group of sincere developers, dedicated to continuing their vision of building a revolutionary marketplace based on the blockchain. DESPITE their huge financial setback, they refuse to play the victim and grovel in self-pity to ask for donations or outside help. Rather, they take it all in stride, resolve to carry on their dream and remain strong in the face of adversity! How amazing is that? How many people would give up, get angry, complain or shift to begging for help, after suffering such a crushing blow to their morale?

For this reason, Swarm City is now a significant part of my portfolio! Not only because I believe it has tremendous value in the long term, but because the people behind it stand for values more than just that represented by dollar $ign$. They represent that entrepreneurial spirit that never gives up, never quits, never backs down. The same spirit upon which cryptocurrency was born and now flourishes. That makes me confident that this team at Swarm City will be able to face ANY challenges that the future may hold! They are only stronger now for having gone through such a terrible loss and yet they didn't give up. I love it! I love this story and I can't wait to see what becomes of this amazing crypto community!
