About Sidera

Sidera is a complete end-to-end solution for contactless and smartwatch retail point-of- sale (POS) including a full-stack reference implementation of all the components.

It includes a mobile application and point-of-sale (POS) terminals that are already in deployment. All of these components will be made widely available through open source and open specifications.

By releasing the full-stack reference implementations as open source and open specifications, we can enable ubiquitous worldwide distribution of the Sidera protocols and ensure the rapid expansion of the value of the Sidera Network.

What hinders cryptocurrency implementation?

Although we witness a meteoric rise of demand for cryptocurrency in the digital community (there are already about 500 mln people involved in crypto trading), there are still two factors slowing down its integration into real life:

• It’s too complicated for an average user. If you’re far from being tech-savvy, managing private and public keys and understanding the technology will be too challenging. Most people don’t try to “mess up” with such a thing as cryptocurrency simply because they don’t understand how it works.
