Today’s market cap (09. November 2017.) - Altcoins are rocketing!
Yesterday I said that the market was bipolar, and that was before the Sexwit2x fork was cancelled. So, what word should I use today? Schizophrenic? The market cap has reached new highs, currently at $205,111,085,906 (was even higher this morning). Bitcoin lost a bit of its dominance (still high with 58,6%), and some altcoins are rocketing!
First, let's take a look on our starting eleven:
Due to this cancellation Bitcoin dropped at $7214.71 Frankly, I expected a much larger correction after this news. Since it was investors who was hopping for free B2X who were pumping the price in the first place. But maybe this is just the market response to this very good news, since a major part of the community wasn’t supporting this fork in the first place. Next days will tell us.
IOTA is still killing it! 63.71% rise in the last 7 days!!! But, what’s even more important than the current price, the volume is also rocketing.
There’s Chinese sleeping dragon, NEOs waking up. As well as Monero and NEM.
Now, let’s see top 10 winners of the day:
Here we have all the coins I already covered.
Vertcoin is leading this gang, aiming for the new highs. IOTA and Walton are right behind. And we also have ARK, Stratis and Cardano riding this altcoin wave. And largely profiting from it.
And now the losers:
It must be hard to be the loser at times like this, but to be fair, there aren’t real losers today.
Electroneum came on the market just a week ago ant it’s going through a usual post ICO selloff.
They’re calling it a new cryptocurrency designed for the 2 billion + smart phone users. Mobile Mining, Easy Transfers, Online and Offline Wallets. And it has been developed with the explicit intention of capturing the mobile and online gaming market.
The rest are under 5% price change, which isn’t worth mentioning.
That’s it for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with more interesting movements on the market.
Until then, STAY SAFE AND HODL!
