Another reason to stay away from Tether. Geez... Does anyone actually use their system? I've seen SO MANY posts/vids/etc. saying it's a scam, a super shady company, etc.
Tether is used a lot, actually. Bitfinix has tons of USDT pairs that do quite a bit of volume, for example.
I heard bitfinex was shifty too. There was something to do with issuing Thether or something and how a lot of it appeared from nothing, or had no backing or something. It was a while I go I heard about that so I forget the specifics. I just know there were warnings to stay away from Tether.
