#1 - The Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) has approved the first exchange-traded fund tracking the performance of Ethereum (ETH) in Latin America.
Several months after greenlighting a Bitcoin ETF, Brazil’s watchdog has done the same for a product tracking the performance of the second-largest cryptocurrency – ETH. The fund will be managed by QR Asset Management.
#2 - France has proposed giving more power to the Paris-based European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and making it responsible for cryptocurrency oversight. French regulators say cryptocurrencies need EU-wide regulation.
