Reasons are next:
Team working for the product, for instance behind BAT is Brendan Eich creator of JavaScript and co-creator of Mozilla & Firefox.
Then comes the quality of the project, the math behind the webpages.
Next one is hype, hype drives the price.
For last it is market cap and total supply math i like to do.
