Universal Basic Income on STEEM! Lifetime upvotes to keep family feed.
No clickbait, these are lifetime votes in a cool way. This is a text but the concept and how it works is easy just read it and try if you like.
Since i try to educate my readers lets first understand whats an UBI concept.
A universal basic income is a government guarantee that each citizen receives a minimum income. It is also called a citizen’s income, guaranteed minimum income, or basic income.
Lately due to COVID-19 people/govs/media started speaking about UBI for those who will lose jobs or cant enter jobs so I think its a good moment to show this project (which I have already tested sine come time) up here!
Normally UBI comes from socialism, taxes and government printing money which I'm against but in case of experiment on the blockchain here, the guys came with different ideas which I find pretty amazing.
I don't want to go into politics just if you don't read everything I wanted to say mainly I don't like UBI as an economic concept but here on the blockchain I'm a fan.
You send STEEM to buy points into the UBI bot while buying a point you also give nick of someone else. So for 1 point there is 2 points, 1 for you, one for a friend. Now the money bot has are not from taxing anyone, printing - but from your own money you paid into the pool, just they stay as infinite votes (as long as the bot works of course ;).

Send any amount of STEEM and as memo put nick of someone ie kingscrown.
Yes, you have to put someone's name there, which is cool.
Click SEND and its done.
Now give it time and you will be getting votes from the bots depending on your stake in the UBI.
So if you like the idea - try it. If you want to add someone cool as the sponsoring receiver - consider me if your family etc is not here. Remember for each point you can add different people too. I saw people doing this UBI adding for 10s of their friends while stacking up points themselves.

I always liked the SBI initiative... even sent a few shares to people, along the way.
What's cool about it is precisely what you said... no government. It's a voluntary pay-in the provides a long-term return for those who are willing to commit to be continuously active in the community. So it's a "reward for SOMEthing," not a case of "money for NOTHING."

But there was a time when the steemit community turned against the concept and I stopped. I would love to start again once I have some idea about the values of steem and hive. I like both but I have low expectations about the future of either taking off after the split.
