DENT

No, this is not dentacoin (the one you see plastered all over social media). The Dent team are in the process of creating a worldwide blockchain-based marketplace where people can buy, sell or donate mobile data.

This has a number of benefits. Firstly, it means cheap mobile data! Why pay $50 for 3GB of data when you could pay a fraction of this price by purchasing it on an online marketplace? That's good news for us in NZ, but it's fantastic news for countries where the cost of mobile data is horrendously expensive compared to the living wage. Millions of people in developing countries are increasingly reliant on mobile phones for their access to the internet and for running business. Through the Dent app, these users will be able to purchase mobile data at a fraction of the price of Telco providers in their countries.

It also provides a solution for those of us who have leftover mobile data at the end of the month and no carryover. With Dent we will be able to sell or donate this data on the worldwide marketplace.

Another plus is that we can say goodbye to international roaming charges. Rather than having to buy a local simcard or sell your soul to pay for mobile data overseas, now when you touch down in a new country all you will need to do is load up the Dent app and buy some local data.

The Dent mobile app is scheduled for release in December so expect some price action then.
Current price is US$0.000332 - 5 satoshis. The total supply is 100 billion Dent, so don't expect the price to hit the hundreds or even tens of dollars, but there is still plenty of room for growth.

Regarding purchase and storage, it can currently only be bought on HitBTC and Etherdelta. As it becomes more available the price should climb. It is an ERC20 token so can be stored in your Eth wallet.

Dent's market cap is just $3.5 million. Considering the global mobile data market is worth an estimated $1.5 trillion, Dent is a true sleeping giant.
