Venezuela has now legalized cryptocurrency mining
The government of Venezuela has announced that cryptocurrency mining is now legal in the country. The government is launching a cryptocurrency called Petro and they have planned to start its token pre-sale in February. The Petro token will be backed up by Venezuela's oil reserves with one token equivalent to one barrel. The parliamentary opposition has called Petro a scam.
