More than 100 Million pets have been abandoned or lost this 2018

We just left behind dog's day, our faithful companion but we can not forget the other animals that stay with us daily. They are always special!
After analyzing all the information that can be recorded from each country, we come to the conclusion that summer is not the season when more animal are abandoned in contrast to the myth that exists since years. The data is overwhelming but it is during all the year.

Animals are from our family and a lifetime commitment. Never leave them!

We will make available to all Petchainers the neccesary tools to make it very easy and quick to get in touch with an animal nursery or a user who can take charge of your companion for a certain time or indefinitely, they can not be abandon. In addition to population awareness to avoid abandonment, one of our main objectives is to eliminate abandonment levels on Petchain's ecosystem so, additionally to Pet-ID, we want to develop an animal identification system without the need of additional elements susceptible to being lost or removed maliciously. To get to this point we will go through different phases always keeping on the same objective, zero abandonment, updating our location system with sensors, anti remove system and anti loss collar device.

It is estimated that only in Europe there are 100 million pets lost, we are talking about estimations because there is not a global system that can store all this information and each country use their own tools. On Petchain we want to avoid the losses and abandonment solving one by one all the reasons that provoke it. Informing, educating and making society aware of the problem.

We can avoid unwanted litters, hunting season's end, economic and behaviour problems nor the loss of interest towards your companion but we can mantain a constant flow of information to all the protectors, we can offer products and services, offer education tips, recommend professionals and if it is necessary, simplify the search process of the protector to the maximum, all of this at 0 cost.

All lost or abandoned animals suffer physical and pshychological traumas but additionally, it has an important social impact. This generates a high economic cost and various problems forcing different sensible collectives to devote time, effort and money trying to solve it. All these problems occur because of the lack of responsability and awareness of a part of our society. With everybody's help we will create an ecosystem able to change the rules and ensure the future that our companions deserve!

Acabamos de dejar atrás el día del perro, nuestro fiel compañero, pero no podemos olvidar al resto de animales que nos acompañan en nuestro día a día. ¡Todos los días son especiales!
Después de analizar todos los datos que se pueden recopilar de cada país llegamos a la conclusión de que el verano no es la época en la que más abandono de animales se produce, al contrario del mito que existe desde hace unos años. Los datos son abrumadores, pero lo son todo el año.

Los animales son de nuestra familia y un compromiso de por vida. ¡Nunca los abandones!

Pondremos a disposición de todos los Petchainers las herramientas necesarias para que sea muy fácil y rápido ponerte en contacto con una guardería o un usuario que pueda hacerse cargo de tu compañero por un tiempo determinado o indefinidamente, nunca se debe llegar al abandono. Además de la concienciación de toda la población para evitar el abandono, una de nuestra metas más importantes es reducir los niveles de abandono a cero dentro del ecosistema de petchain, para ello, además de Pet-ID queremos desarrollar un sistema de identificación de animales sin necesidad de elementos adicionales susceptibles de perderse o quitarse malintencionadamente. Para llegar a este punto pasaremos por diferentes fases siempre manteniendo el mismo objetivo en el punto de mira, abandono cero, actualizando nuestro sistema de localización con sensores y sistemas anti extracción y anti pérdida del dispositivo del collar.

Se estima que sólo en Europa hay 100 millones de mascotas extraviadas por una u otra causa, hablamos de estimaciones porque no existe un sistema global para recopilar toda la información y cada país utiliza sus propias herramientas. En Petchain queremos evitar las pérdidas y los abandonos solucionando uno por uno los motivos que los provocan. Informando, educando y concienciando a toda la sociedad.

No podemos evitar las camadas no deseadas, la finalización de la temporada de caza, los problemas económicos, de comportamiento y ni la pérdida de interés hacia tu compañero pero si podemos mantener un flujo constante de información hacia todos los protectores, ofrecer productos y servicios, ofrecer consejos de educación, recomendar profesionales y si fuera necesario, simplificar al máximo el proceso de búsqueda del protector perfecto para hacerse cargo de tu compañero, todo ello a coste 0.

Todos los animales perdidos o abandonados sufren traumas físicos y psicológicos pero además conlleva un importante impacto social. Esto genera un elevado coste económico y diversos problemas obligando a diferentes colectivos sensibles a que dediquen tiempo, esfuerzo y dinero tratando de solucionarlos. Todos estos problemas vienen dados por la falta de responsabilidad y de concienciación por una parte de la sociedad. ¡Con la ayuda de todos crearemos un ecosistema capaz de cambiar las reglas y asegurar el futuro que todos nuestros compañeros se merecen!
