Top 5 Altcoins under 1000 Satoshi

3 weeks ago I made a blog post of the same title. Today I am publishing my revised list. This isn’t because my old picks were bad choices, it’s just that some of them have since become worth over 1000 satoshi, while others have been forced out of the way by even better coins I have recently become aware of.

So without further ado, here are my top 5 altcoins for under 1000 satoshi:

(5) Reddcoin (RDD) - current value at time of writing: 60 Satoshi (coinmarketcap.com)

The one coin that survived from my previous list. Being used on social media should help Reddcoin spread quickly. The roadmap for this coin looks solid and there are rumours they have been in talks with Disqus.

This coin should reach at least a penny in value over the next couple of years.

(4) Siacoin (SC) - current value at time of writing: 559 Satoshi (coinmarketcap.com)

I was a Siacoin skeptic at first but over time it’s won me over. This coin just doesn’t go away. Since smashing through the 400 Satoshi barrier earlier this month Siacoin hasn’t looked back. Don’t be surprised when this coin hits 1000 Satoshi soon.

(3) 1337 (1337) - current value at time of writing: 4 Satoshi (coinmarketcap.com)

Two things in particular make this coin a promising bet. Firstly, its team of dedicated developers that are working overtime. Secondly, the large community that has assembled around this coin that is desperate to see it succeed. A quick look at the voting list on Livecoin for getting a coin listed demonstrates the size and strength of this community.

At 4 Satoshis, the coin is pretty much free. Why not pick some up and see what it does?

(2) Safe Exchange Coin (SAFEX) - current value at time of writing: 160 Satoshi (coinmarketcap.com)

Did people use Silk Road? Yes. Will people use Safe Exchange? Absolutely. It’s only a matter of time before the Chille blockchain is launched, at which point the price of this coin will surprise a lot of people.

Expect this coin to be worth well over 1 cent in the coming months.

(1) NoLimitCoin (NLC2) - current value at time of writing: 379 Satoshi (coinmarketcap.com)

The winner by a long distance has to be NoLimitCoin. This coin will be unfamiliar to many so I advise checking out my blog post on the coin to get an idea of what it’s about:

Simply put, this coin has way too much going for it to be valued as low as it is. Once people become more aware of what this coin has to offer (and they will) its price will only explode further.
