Masters of the CTP Universe
In my former offline job, I was taught that I needed to ”master” the art of multi-tasking. My company went so far as to send me to workshops so I could accomplish that. In fact, I was so successful at it that I was selected to teach others. I prided myself on my accomplishment.
After all, not many in my department could work in several different areas of law at once. It required interacting with numerous individuals both internally and externally. I’d go to bed and wake up thinking about what had to be done next on each project. I was on top of it. At least that’s what I thought.
The only thing I really managed to accomplish was to get hypertension. So, after several years of alternating between different areas, I realized I had become what I call a "jack-of-all-trades, master of none". An eye opener. I was not an expert in any field. Adding insult to injury, I was told I needed to return to class to be certified in each one. I made the decision to pursue certification in only one.
Now, I compare my former experiences and training to CTP's Mastery section. They created the Mastery to allow its members to earn rewards at CTP. Owners can create their own "mini" CTP for members to works towards rewards at their sites.
My first attempt at the Mastery was to work on several sites simultaneously to finish quicker. Mission Accomplished, Received my Mastery Badge! That didn't work. Temporary lapse of memory. As my CTP teammate @kirkoliver told me, “it’s a marathon”.
Taking his advice, I changed strategy. Now concentrating on one site to completion if I can before moving to another. Using this strategy, I've now completed the STEEM MASTERY Section faster than I thought I would:
You can approach the Mastery in two ways:
Concentrate on one site. You may finish quicker. But this approach does have its drawbacks. For instance, I focused on a particular site, completing 7 of the required modules. The next month, this site was no longer in the Mastery. I was disappointed. I devoted a lot of time to it. But as @mamasez said in her post, “...ADJUST and move on". I did.
Work on multiple sites at once. You may be able to complete a few tasks for all the Mastery sites each day. I feel it will take you longer to complete one site.
Remember, you are not competing against anyone else. You are only trying to improving yourself.
You decide which approach is best for you. Me, I’m getting offline now and taking a break. When I return, I’ll go to the Mastery section and start on my next site while thinking about my new motto: “Slow and Steady”.

So awesome to see you conquered that Mastery section in CTP :) Congrats!!
Thank you. Once I stopped and focused on just completing one site, things began to change for me. I could see real progress. I thought I’d never make 200 posts. But posting consistently, even though it wasn’t everyday, helps you reach your goal faster. You said in your training it would happen, and it did.
