Adam Kokesh helps Libertarians in Cuba and Venezuela

The title is actually way too narrow to be completely true—Adam Kokesh supports Libertarians in all countries! Like me, he knows that borders don’t define countries—people do. But he’s been especially helpful to the liberty community in the oppressed countries of Cuba and Venezuela. Both countries are suffering under economic poverty and political repression.

Cuba and Venezuela are full of dissidents, with more people turning against the regimes every day. Cuban and Venezuelan Libertarians stand in special solidarity as they’re oppressed by socialism. They have to, since their governments are working together to protect Soviet-style socialism in Latin America. Anyone who’s watched the news is aware of the poverty in Cuba and the Weimer Germany-style depression in Venezuela. People want something different, and libertarianism provides the answers to their questions. Right now, people in a remote part of Cuba’s Camagüey province are reading the Spanish translation of Adam’s book FREEDOM! It’s one of the very few short, easy-to-read introductions to libertarianism that exist in Spanish.

The #TaxationIsTheft tour to run #KokeshForNotPresident had a very special tour stop for Miami: the world-famous Versailles Cuban restaurant! Since we were in Little Havana and surrounded by so many Cuban members of LP Florida, it would’ve been criminal not to talk about our brothers south of the border! As North America’s spokesman for the Cuban Libertarian Party, it was my privilege to open for Adam with a talk on the Cuban and Venezuelan Libertarian parties. See it here:

Furthermore, some of LP Florida’s most active members are now plugged in with the Cuban and Venezuelan parties. Projects that were on the backburner for months are now in motion, and all of this was made possible by the #TaxationIsTheft tour which literally brought me to the people I most needed to see.

At this time I can’t disclose some of the material ways Adam is helping our brothers and sisters as some things need to go through the 501(c)3 first. I can tell you that it’s exciting, and our Venezuelan brothers are especially excited about one project that’s already in development.

If you haven’t seen the literal combat that dissidents had to survive in Venezuela, that nightmare is forever captured for future generations to know what happened in what used to be an affluent liberal democracy:

If you haven’t seen the video of the Havana Libertarian crew standing up to the secret police, see it for yourself and be amazed at their courage:

Our Latin American comrades are grateful for all the support they’ve received from around the world. I’m grateful too, though I can’t help but be annoyed whenever I see libertarians complain about communism after they’ve declined helping us with the actual fight against communism where it exists as policy. Adam Kokesh knows that the best weapon against totalitarian tyranny is freedom itself. Freedom doesn’t come by words or complaining, but by action—by activism. By stepping away from Facebook and making something happen on the ground. I’m glad Adam’s actually doing something to help grow Liberty in Cuba and Venezuela, on top of what he does for freedom here in America.

Amazing....these ideas have no borders! Let us continue to further freedom through non-violent action.

Best of luck man. Venezuela need a serious dose of liberty!

So does the USSA....
