Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

In the busy hustle bustle of Asia’s financial centre lies a hidden gem that I have never visited in the ten years I’ve lived here in Hong Kong. Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, or Kadoorie Farm for short, is located in the New Territories portion of Hong Kong.

I didn’t know what to expect when visiting here, and I came away pleasantly surprised.

Don’t go chasing waterfalls

Unfortunately, there’s a flea market close by to the West Rail Station with a hilarious Hong Kong restaurant stall owner and a crazy waitress who sidetracked us (story for another day). So we only arrived an hour before closing. Please upvote this article, and I’ll go back and post more pictures and stories from the Farm.

To get to Kadoorie Farm, take the West Rail Line to the Kam Sheung Rd. Station. Then take the 64K to the Kadoorie Farm stop. Make sure you’re going in the direction of Tai Po or you'll end up in Yuen Long.
