Persistence pays off when you're climbing the ranks in Blocky Road Game

In my free time this weekend I used it to try to learn more on the Blocky Road game in Cur8.

I actually played a lot of Blocky Road and my experience has grown so far I can say that. I appreciated the game and how enjoyable it is to play, and knowing that there was real reward for the grind.

This last round I played I was very determined to go further and the reward of my progress was more than just the XP and the coins growing but, the enjoyment and knowing I could get to the next level if I tried harder.

It seems simple enough to cross the road without getting squished and to complete the level but there are a lot of distractions. The obstacles are the speeding trains and car traffic. That train can end the game easier and faster than anything else. The entire scene keeps moving so if you don't move that'll also be a game over.

The logs that fall into the water is a nice touch, I think it's the second easiest obstacle but it was getting faster and more confusing as I progressed in the game.

I had a lot of trouble starting the level. At first, I underestimated a log jump and alos got squished under a train, but the games XP system is a great incentive to keep trying. I even got 20.78 XP from a game over in the first level at a score of 34.

As I kept trying I was getting better at not dying. My scores kept increasing and I was so desperate to succeed that I got a score of 44 with a XP boost of 40.98 and I was finally able to achieve a score of 54. I know there are higher scores for other players but because I'm still knew I'll need time to master the game.

I felt so proud that seeing those single digit XP increases were replaced with a steady stream of double digits,. which is proof that I'm doing better.

The Classic Meadow map designers deserves to be appreciated and recognized because they did a good job building a nice game scene environment. They also kept the game lively during all of the plenty death fails of my blocky road avatar.

The Quests and Milestones was good and exciting part of the game. I completed the Blocky Road: Coin Collector daily quest by collecting 17 of the 15 required coins. Rewards boosted my experience by 50 and gave me 15 coins. All of my effort earned me a milestone. I leveled up and I moved from Level 2 to Level 3 and also received an additional 8 coins.

This game was a challenge no doubt, but it definitely paid off. If I learned one thing, it's that every Game Over is just a stepping stone to the next level and you go to the next level with experience.
