💭 My Thoughts

Today's cur8 Games Log — Sky Tower

Today I decided to play Sky Tower, one of my favorite games on the cur8 Games platform.

At first glance, Sky Tower looks simple.

Just stack blocks and build a tower.

But anyone who has played it knows that's far from the truth.

The higher the tower gets, the more pressure you feel.

One small mistake can end a great run instantly.

My first attempt started off well.

I felt confident and the timing seemed good.

Unfortunately, the run ended at 55m.

Not terrible, but definitely not the result I was hoping for.

So I jumped right back into another game.

This time everything felt different.

The combos started stacking quickly, and before long I had reached a 17-combo streak.

One of the best things about Sky Tower is how combos help you recover.

As the platforms get smaller, maintaining combos can make them grow larger again, giving you another chance to keep climbing.

That mechanic saved my run more than once.

The tower kept growing.

I was completely focused.

Eventually I reached 114m, but my run ended shortly afterward.

It was a little frustrating because I felt like I still had a chance to climb even higher.

Still, the final results were impressive.

Today's Results

Perfect Placements: 82
Max Combo: 17

Out of 114 blocks, an incredible 82 were perfect placements.

That's probably one of my best performances in recent memory.

After finishing, I checked the leaderboard.

I was hoping for a Top 3 finish, but the competition was tougher than expected.

Just 6m separated me from third place.

So close!

Even though I finished fourth, I'm still very happy with the result.

The run also helped me complete three quests, including the Combo Master challenge and two additional combo-related quests.

A strong score, multiple quest completions, and a Top 5 leaderboard position.

I'd call that a pretty successful day in Sky Tower.
