Today I tried a new challenge in Altitude on Cur8 Games.

Before I started, I noticed that Altitude had already made it onto the ranking games list, which definitely caught my attention.
Seeing the leaderboard made me want to give it a try right away.

Altitude is a tactical vertical jumper.
You keep jumping higher and higher while collecting coins, defeating enemies, and powering up through permanent upgrades.
There are 6 platform types, 5 unique enemies, and 18 upgrades to unlock, so it already feels like a game with a lot of depth.

At first, it looked simple enough.
Just jump upward, dodge the enemies, and keep climbing.
But once I actually started playing, I realized it was much harder than it looked.
If you move the wrong way, you can fall off the platform in an instant, and sometimes you just crash straight into an enemy without even noticing it coming.

That’s what makes the game so fun.
Every run feels a little different, and even when things go wrong, you still want to try again because there’s always a chance to go a little higher.

In the end, I got a pretty solid result.

Altitude: 8,843 E
Coins: +770

For now, I’m sitting at Rank #8 on the leaderboard.
As always, @luciojolly looks like an absolute monster at this game.
The second-place score is around 15,000, while he is sitting far above everyone else with a score in the million range.
That gap is honestly wild.

Still, it was a fun challenge, and I’m glad I gave it a try.

Playing different games in one session made it way more enjoyable and never boring.
Cur8 really has a great variety of games, and it feels like anyone can easily find something fun to play.
