SLC31-W6 | The Curious Explorer : Food Culture Journey.

There are many food culture centres in my town, both traditional and International, which are now advancing into intercontinental food centres to serve both residents and visitors.

What kind of Food Culture Journey have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

I visited a traditional restaurant named; "B & H RESTAURANT". This restaurant is located on Akwanga-Gwantu Rd, Akwanga. The place is along the Kaduna highway and it is a restaurant where travellers usually stop by to eat. Initially, this restaurant was all about the selling of traditional foods but today the restaurant has advanced and modernizes which is now sells both traditional and Intercontinental food.

How were the activities, services, and facilities at this place? (With pictures + prices, videos)

The activities of the place are food services where customers enter and buy food. It is all about selling both traditional foods and Intercontinental foods with good delivery services.

As a customer when you enter the place there are seats for you to sit down, and you will be attended to so you can place your order or you can choose to walk to the counter and place your order.

As for the facilities, there is a bathroom and a washing sink, a standing fan, electric lights, air-conditioning, tables, and chairs in the place which makes customers feel more comfortable and relaxed.

The special foods of "B & H RESTAURANT" include rice, thick swallows served with spicy, aromatic stews, unique bean dumplings, and refreshing local grains and dairy. Also as for swallow there is tuwo shinkafa and two masara.

As a curious explorer, I had a good experience at the place, but I couldn't buy what I wanted from the place because they mostly sell traditional foods. I wanted to buy vegetable soup which was unavailable at the time I visited the place. This left me bitter and unhappy, so I left the place without buying anything.
