Daily Stoic: March 20th - Ready and At Home
Well, Hello!?
My baby mama and I are busy figuring out living situations and "real life incomes" at the moment. . . so excuse my sparseness on this here @Steemit.
I do hope to maintain The Daily Stoic throughout this process, and for the rest of the year as well :-)
So Welcome!
Haha! Wow
After reading that I feel it is exactly where I am at right now. Preparing and cultivating my foundation so that I may face whatever happens to come at me.
I like the idea of being ready to face things full on, and most definitely want to be.
Often times I have been more at the whims of it all, taking it as it comes, rather than waxing my surfboard, ready to get at those waves.
But there have been some points in my life which I have been more than ready for it all... which, while I remember the feeling, looking forward to what will come in these next months, seem to be where I want to be.
The Daily Stoic often comes at me with exactly what I need on the day (the time even) that I read it.
Boom!
I love reading the Daily Stoic each day because I love to ponder things, and to get in touch with my Self nature and essence.
While I may not be in full alignment with everything I find in this ancient lineage, it is often a good starting point for some really amazing thoughts and thinking about how to be the best; for ourselves, for each other and for the world.
If you enjoy pondering about Self and Mastery and the inner workings of Manifestation and How The World Works and such, then you will likely enjoy pondering these teachings throughout your day.
The authors Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman also provide some nice insight for each days quote. Both are modern day Stoics and have a lot to offer.
Each month follows a theme -
The, February, is about Passions and Emotions.
This mont, March, is about Awareness.
All The Love,
