Guns N' Roses' previous single has been "You Could Be Mine" was actually the lead single off "Use Your Illusion II", which came out first than the lead single of their album "Use Your Illusion I". The lead single off the latter was "Don't Cry", while an alternative lyrics version was on "Use Your Illusion II". "Don't Cry" became a number 10 hit on US Billboard Hot 100, number 8 on UK Singles chart, and number 5 on Eurochart Hot 100.
