🎸 New Solo Acoustic Performance – “Frozen Sunsets”

Dear friends,

I’ve just recorded an original of mine song called “Frozen Sunsets”, and I’m really excited to share it with you.

This piece is deeply personal — built around an intimate acoustic arrangement and filled with emotion. It explores themes of longing, distance, solitude, and that powerful, almost painful pull of love that refuses to fade… even when people drift apart.

💔 The Story Behind the Song

“Frozen Sunsets” came together in a way I didn’t expect.

Part of the lyrics were written by a poet named Viv — words that were almost lost forever. She had thrown them away, but something about them felt too real, too powerful… so I literally took the paper out of the dustbin.

The rest of the lyrics were written by another poet, NS.

The two have never met.
They exist in completely separate worlds…
except in this song.

And somehow, their words speak to each other perfectly — like two distant voices carried by the same wind.

🌬️ About the Lyrics

The song paints a poetic picture of love drifting like sails:

It’s about that imbalance — when one heart reaches out, while the other slowly disappears.

There’s a quiet melancholy throughout:

My dreams—frozen sunsets, still,
atrophied without your gaze.

Dreams frozen in time. Days that feel empty, dim, almost lifeless:

помръкналите ми без тебе дни

My days cry out like trumpets shrill,
yet dim without your warming rays.

Autumn imagery runs through the song — a symbol of change, endings, and the beauty of quiet sadness:

есен в косите ми,
листопад от нощни самоти

as autumn weaves into my hair,
a fall of nights in lone commune.
🔥 Why Bulgarian + Flamenco?

I also experimented with something a bit unusual — a flamenco-inspired acoustic feel combined with Bulgarian lyrics.

And honestly… it works.

Bulgarian has a natural rhythm and emotional depth that’s surprisingly close to Spanish. It carries that same warmth and intensity, making it a really interesting fit for this style — maybe even more than English in this case.

It’s still something new, but it feels like the beginning of a direction worth exploring.

🎶 Final Thoughts

“Frozen Sunsets” is about distance, silence, and connection that somehow survives both.

Two poets.
Two voices.
One story.

Sometimes the most beautiful things come from what was almost thrown away.
