Here in my area there are some Hoopoes (we call him Upupa), but it's difficult to tke some pics of them. I love their way to singing, it's really a characteristic singing ^_^
Yes, it is really a unique sound. The Italian name as well sounds like the song :) It is so cool that this bird seems to always have an onomathopeic name :)
