Disclaimer:

I know that this is the n-th time that this issue is addressed, so if any of the moderators feels that this post is worthless, please remove it. But I have the necessity of talk about it.

This is insane.

The last two weeks have made me sad and angry. The community has turn in some kind of place in where free money is given and a lot of people have come attracted by this money offer. OK, it's quite normal. I like free money too and when I joined the community was because I was attracted by these ONION airdrops. And I'm quite sure that could be the same for many other (good) members of the community.

Since the moment that I joined the community I have tried to give value to this project. I don't know if I'm doing well or not, but be sure that I'm doing as best as I can. And it's really difficult because English is my 3rd (or 4th) language. I have tried to learn (I have learned a lot of new thing), I have tried to help (being modest I think that I ave helped some people) and above everything I have tried to put my little rock in order to build this this big structure. And of course, being honest, sometimes I have posted shit-posts. And the best, I have done these thing because I wanted, because I feel comfortable, because I wanted to help, because I believe in this project, and of course because of the Airdrops.

The problem is that the last two weeks have been insane. Thousand (I really don't know how many) of new user have been joined d a really (in my opinion) huge number of them are those called "farmers". These farmers don't believe in this project, they don't give any value to the project, they just post shits and more shits. The number of time that I have read thing like "Thanks for the information, Sir", "So proud of being part of this community, Sir", "Good job, Sir", "I like onions, Sir" or "So sad for you, Sir" is uncountable and make me crazy.

There are some of them with a 14 days account and they have "Well-know member" rank, 350 posts and 400 likes. How is this possible? They don't have a family or friends or a job? On a good day I can post 4-5 posts? How the heck do they do that? Well, they do this just writing shit, shit and more shit because they know that the more shit you write, the more DeepPoint they get. In addition, the most of them, are posting in the so called "Domination Tasks". I think that we are giving the impression that we are some kind f spam-bots community

I know that moderators are doing a fantastic job trying to catch this farmers, they are wasting their time (as I can think hours and hours) trying to avoid these scammers and trying to keep the community clean. And I want that to thank you because of your job and, above everything for your time.

Big problems, simple solutions.

I'm writing this post for you moderators and for your mental health and your social/familiar life. I don't want you to waste your time with these people. So we need some kind of solution, a radical and simple solution. And here comes my proposal: REMOVE DEEPPOINTS.

If DeepPoints are removed is a win-win situation:

  • Moderator's mental health keeps healthy.
  • The forum remains clean, amount of shit remains at minimal quantities.
  • Members work to give value to the project because they believe in this community.
  • "Domination Tasks" are doing well, not spam, not shit.
  • Users can track other user, follow the messages and become friends.
  • And I will not be sad and angry anymore :D

Other solutions.
Maybe the idea of remove DeepPoints is quite radical, so I have another idea: scale the amount of ONINS received by a factor related to the Bitcointalk account. If you are newbie by 0, if you are Jr. Member by 0.3, if you are Member by 0.7, full member by 1 and so on....

Thank you if you have read since here. I needed to through out all of my exasperation. And sorry if the English is not really correct.....
