Advantages of Vector Graphics

• Storage space for image objects is more efficient.
• Vector image objects can be resized and shaped without deteriorating the quality of the display.
• Can be printed at the highest resolution of your printer.
• Drawing and editing vector shapes is relatively easy and fun.

Vector graphics deficiencies

• Cannot produce prime vector image objects when converting these image objects from bitmap format.
• Use of processors that consume more memory

Excess Bitmap Graphics

• Smaller memory usage
• Can produce bitmap image objects from vector drawing objects in an easy and fast way

Weakness of Bitmap Graphics

• The image object has problems when resized, especially when the image object is enlarged.
• Efek yang diidapat dari objek berbasis bitmap yakni akan terlihat pecah atau berkurang detailnya saat dicetak pada resolusi yang lebih rendah.
