Development of a Haussmann apartment in Paris by Camille Hermand Architectures
This large apartment of 350 m2 facing Parc Monceau was re-imagined by Camille Hermand to receive a large young family. The client wanted a practical, relaxed and contemporary home for his family, without losing the Haussmanian elegance of the apartment.
To respect and revive the guidelines of space, Camille has mixed these typical Haussmann features with contemporary codes and unexpected nuances. Respecting the large volumes of space, the entrance with its dark and mysterious wallpaper associated with a slate gray paint, finds a very majestic atmosphere. The large main living room becomes a multifunction living space. A beautiful open kitchen, made-to-measure, occupies a comfortable place between a dining area, a library made to measure also and a space for children. Everywhere, the chosen palette of colors mixes nuances with dark tones, which underline the timeless charm of its architecture. its moldings, its Hungarian-style parquet floor and its volumes are now accentuated by a delicate choice of contemporary furniture.
