Blockchain Initiativen der Österreichischen Regierung #update
The following links are in German - it is about the plans of the Austrian Government to take a leading position in Europe regarding Blockchain Technology.

nice ... Thanks for information, upvote and resteem.

Quite Intresting and useful :D
Didn't austrian post offices start accepting cryptos not too long ago? That country is way ahead of the others it seems!
i am actually living in austria. Our post offices allow you to buy coins in exchange for fiat money. However, they do not accept crypto as a form of payment, yet.
Actually you can get BTC in exchange for fiat not only in our post offices but also in quiet a few kiosks here in austria (0). This service already started a couple of years ago and i actually bought BTC through this service, when it was around 200$. When i went into the kiosk and kindly asked to buy some BTC, the cashier told me that i was the first one to actually buy BTC in her kiosk.
Located inside the Central-Train-Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) of our capital city Vienna there is also a Crypto-ATM, where you insert your cash and it will send BTC to your wallet. (1)
And last but not least, there is the "House of Nakamoto" (2) on one of the most popular shopping strips of Vienna.
So yeah, i guess austria really is quiet ahead of other (european) countries. What we are missing is a way to spend Crypto. In Australia you can already pay bills with Crypto (3)
Thx for that
great comment, thanks for your answer!

Wie heißt's so schön, man darf gespannt sein...
Ich bin auf jeden Fall gespannt wie ein Gummiringerl... :-)
this mean eurpeon union or special austrian goverment will try to legalize the crypto for always that u say in ur last post @alexpfeiffer sir...is the crypto currencies will centrelize after this or not
No because it is still on the blockchain - however you have always to have in mind that if a majority of miners is in the hand of one country and if they cooperate it is another way of centralized power. Not in the hands of politicians but a handful crypto billionaires. That is why I like proof of work of litecoin (spread over maaaaaannnnyyy miners) and I like all kind of proof of stake approaches. I am even working on an approach myself that will be posted here one day to solve the 51 % issue all and forever.
nice sir now i understand it deeply before now i dont know somethings and i agree with u fully u right sir....thanx alot for tell me more
Yes, governments are building on existing blockchains or else trying to push Start ups to develop applications for governmental purposes. But a lot of it makes sense - e.g. Establishing polls about the public opinion regarding important topics on the blockchain with access via citizenship-card. So they get public opionion before discussion at parliament. Maybe blockchain helps to get the classic governmental descissions more democratic.
This posting is especially for my home country - Austria. However - all over Europe blockchain initiatives start.
my opinion is.. it is good step if all goverments are work on it...thanx alot sir for this latest news
Leading position in blockchain what in the... They have potential to succeed!
