이팝 나무 그늘에서
5월에는 이팝나무의 계절이기도 하지요
가까이 들여다 보면 얼핏 눈 결정체
느낌도 나는 키가 큰 나무다.
잎파리 부터 먼저 나오고 꽃이 핀다.
푸른 하늘을 이고 하얀꽃 이팝 나무의 행열이
무척이나 소박하고 정겹다.
