I would have to research this more. I'll admit that I don't really understand what would make this coin stand out. The website is lax on information as is the forum. Like you said probably can't hurt to do a little mining or spend a few bucks and hold long term. But can't see anything that makes this coin look like anything to get excited over.

I personally have been studying the charts for the coin on coinmarketcap and noticed that the bottoms are starting to get higher and higher. When I took interest in the coin I naturally did some Youtube digging to see if there was any recent interest in the coin on Youtube and there was. 3 Videos to be exact. One of the videos that stood out was the guys above. He explained his reasoning for investing into it and all his reasons matched my reasons and I was sold on the coin. I ended up throwing half a Litecoin into it and plan to hold until price jumps a couple decimals. Thanks for reading :)
