Smoking Pot is Becoming the Least Preferred Method Of Cannabis Use
Ingesting cannabis using edibles, tinctures, capsules, and drinkables are quickly replacing the traditional methods of smoking pot as the preferred method of use among recreational and medicinal cannabis users alike. According to USA Today, conducted studies, in conjunction to insight provided by industry experts, show that smoking pot is decreasing in popularity among users in legal states.

YES! But... Why?
The issue happens to be the quality is awful. Would you rather smoke something which is harsh and nasty, or would you prefer something which has been extracted and filtered, ending up significantly smoother?
Cannabis is Awesome! Legalized/Legislated Cannabis is Horribly Contaminated!
Almost all 'legalized' cannabis is gross, in my opinion. Cannabis should smoke clean, smooth, be aromatic and loaded with flavor and potency. Legislation in place does not allow this to be the normal quality sold across the counter.

I explain the principles of truly awesome quality cannabis, in a way anyone can easily understand. I strongly recommend it for any grower, be they new or decades experienced.
True quality cannabis is such a rare thing these days, let's make it an every day occurrence!!
Go BE Awesome!!
I make my own edibles (brownies, cookies, krispy treats) and my own cannabis tincture and hubby prefers them over smoking ANY DAY!
The guys where he works always ask him if I'm making edibles, canna-butter, etc. They like the edibles more too.
Doesn't surprise me that smoking cannabis is the lesser way to consume cannabis. Less discreet to eat, use liquid (tincture) and perhaps more acceptable?
Does the cannabis you make them from smoke so soft and cool temp, you have a hard time telling how big a hit you've taken? Does the aroma when you break open a flower hit you so hard you can taste it? Does the exhale on the last hit in the bowl taste so much like the first hit, you're chomping the smoke to prolong the awesome experience?
If not, I can understand why edibles would be the finer choice. ;) Superior quality cannabis is only slightly easier to find than unicorns, but I'm working on teaching more people.
I can definitely see that. While I still like smoking it, I am fully aware of the downsides of that. Not just inhaling smoke, but the sticky pipes, gross water, etc. I'm trending toward more vaping, with the concentrate cartridges and vape pens. Those are so convenient. I don't mess with edibles as much as I'd like. I don't really eat the foods that people typically make with them, but I could just make infused coconut oil or something and use that.
My hubby has two e-cigs to vape also... he's allowed to use an e-cig in the shop he works at; but not cigarettes, so he opted for the organic CBD oils.
He has an endless supply of edibles with me in the house. I told him I want to try and make some mock Reese's PB cups next.
Yes you could infuse oil too... be great if you make your own salad dressings. Or sandwich spreads too. Now you're giving me new ideas for some more edibles.
Ever been to Seattle?
A handful of times, but not in the last few years.
Good to see smoking pots are decreasing and that to in popular states 👍 @marksheppard

I can see how ingestion is become a more popular method. It has no smell and it taste better.
I don't like that method much because it doesn't work on me, but I see why a lot of people like it.
I'm trying to teach more folks how to grow truly clean cannabis. It tastes and smells delicious, right down to the last hit in the bowl. ;)
