RE: DAYZ - with BINIR

in #dlive7 years ago

@deathwing, Just had a really fun talk with binir, from randomly asking if anyone in dlive discord wanted to talk in voice. We almost got to a game of fortnight, but my download was absolutely crawling for some unknown reason [i was streaming at first but eventually stopped that], so we mostly just engaged in the kind of conversation that i think these technologies and platforms are facilitating, which haven't ever really been possible before in the history of our species.

I'm really hoping to spend time joining other consistent gamers, in whatever game worlds they think they'd enjoy most, when the goal is a 50/50 split, between just enjoying the game/having fun with the visuals, sounds, and conversations, and engaging in conversations that utilize the context provided by these insanely amazing escapes from everyday reality, to illuminate bits and pieces of the future that's about to be here, earlier, rather than later.

Every stream with me would be a different experience to a reasonable or greater degree, from streams that you'd do with a wide range of other characters and personalities, and they can be exhausting if they get too deep, but it's the internet, and quite easy for confident friendly people to just say: "Lol, ok alx, i've had enough, my RAM is Full AF, and you need to STFU, and just kill some pixel figures".

Hopefully we can talk and play something some day soon.

Binir, that was fun. Thanks for the listening. And any laughs. [my computer automatically captures them and assigns me .1 sbd of your interNET Worth™]

I love this place and you all, for all it's strangeness.

I've been happy as hell, worked great for hundreds and hundreds of hours, and at a few times, overtired and jealous for moments, forgetting the incredible blessing it is, for every human being who even has the opportunity in their lifetime, to afford LIFE, by sharing it with others.

Ok ok, i'm done. Thanks to Innovators. Thanks to computers. Thanks to "the internet". TT Steem. TT steemit. TT @ned. TT @dlive.

The STEEM blockchain, for all my problems with it as a name [i am liking it more over time but i might argue in the future for a "FNO" (a fork in name only)(99% of the WORLD has never ever heard of steem yet, so it's not like it would be hard AT ALL)(if WE wished)("whales" will likely listen to unionized huge schools of minnows in association with smaller schools of "dolphins"), is never going to be forgotten, and maybe, just maybe, it'll become something huge.

So way overtired tonight. Have a good day.
