Hey. So here something a bit different. For one thing, im not alone in the video. :D
I was recording a few things as a promo for my new duo. This was made maybe 2 weeks ago but im pretty positive it hasnt been uploaded anywhere yet.
Its a song i love a lot and ive been singing it quite a long time, especially when doing weddings.
This is one of the rare occasions i upload twice a day but i had a bit of time on my hands to upload this, so why not. :D

The guitarist in the video is called Viktor...
and who knows, if this does well i might manage to convince him to join Steem. :D

Ill see you guys later...

🌟KEEP ON STEEMING!🌟

What a beautiful video, what a beautiful voice and you play the splendid violin!! the guitar player does it very well!! greetings from Venezuela

Thank you Betzy. Appreciate the kind words. ❤😁

Well, first off, you don't look much like Etta James. Course Viktor doesn't look much like Elmore, either :)

Which just proves that looks have nothing to do with sound. That is a terrific cover of a damn fine blues singer.

For the first time in 6 weeks I get to hear you in something approaching real sound. When I was out traveling about my poor laptop just couldn't provide the bandwidth needed. When I got home my desktop had expired so the first music I listen to on the new one is you. Good choice.

Thank you. I can't tell you how good that sounds.

Yeah i was wondering where Tom went. Wasnt seeing you much on discord either. I hope everything is going well with you. Im trying to pick up content creation a bit more. Low engagement scares me so im trying to feel out how much i should post.
Im glad you liked it. It really is a special one. And Etta has one of those special voices.

Another one of my favorites from Etta James and your version will go to my playlist. Awesome as always you completed my evening.

Aww. thx. :D Love to see you drop by.

Lovely singing and a really interesting and unique arrangement! Actually I really like Glen Miller's version of this song. I'd be interested to hear you sing some others from that era, like A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square :)
