[DLive] Project Giving - Steem's First NGO
Hello Steemian Friends and DLivers,
We hope you're having an awesome day! It has been a great couple of days for us! We're both happy and proud to announce a project that we have been involved in over the past week. We made it to the @sndbox final quest for their Summer Camp enrollment earlier this year. We managed to get through when we entered the "Travel, Food and Homesteading" quest. We were part of the lucky 10. Now, it comes to the business end and as the deadline approaches, we want to highlight the project we have been involved in for the final quest! Yet, we knew the project would capture our hearts, so we're happy to be apart of "Project Giving" and we look forward to working with and alongside @tristanoliff, the founder of "Project Giving".
"Project Giving" aims to be Steem's First NGO in terms of the concept being created on the blockchain after realizing its potential. The project will be a mixture of raising awareness of certain NGO initiatives on and off the Steemit platform through in-depth and detailed blog posts, as well as fund raising for these initiatives via payouts of those posts. @projectgiving aims to focus on ONE initiative per week and help that initiative as much as they can. We'll be doing a detailed post tomorrow or the day after and all will be explained there. In the meantime, please watch the video for more details about Project Giving.

It's amazing to be apart of this project as we see its potential! No worries, we wanted to get the message out in various forms of media, now we need someone to do an effective Steepshot photo and a podcast on DSound 😜 As well as the intro post!

✋🏼 back to you! Great team work all around and we're just doing our part. It feels good and natural for us to do this vlog as we were (before Steemit) just generally shy people. Yet, when you truly believe in something, you can 'step up to the plate' as they say. Maybe we should have our ice coffee now too 😉 Feeling pumped!

Hahaha we knew you would mention them...maybe because you're close to them 😜😉 Hahaha, yes similar, but more niche. Nothing wrong with that. Plus, the plan hasn't rolled out yet - it's in the future, so we have time to tweak the idea. But just saying, Busy.org is similar to Steemit.com and now there's SteemPeak! It's just finding ways to help the STEEM community and not to compete (as such). Thanks Mo! 😊
