I appreciate what you're doing. The average student doesn't have a clue about inflation. They keep them occupied with Algebra and Calculus, so they don't pay attention to what's real. How about teaching students about deficit financing and bailouts? I guess the credit card companies wouldn't be happy if they taught personal finance either. The education system waste students time with a lot of nonsense.
