From "A Scanner Darkly" - a movie made in early 2000s based on a book made decades earlier in the 70s about a future dystopian nightmare.

By this picture, now, doth it seem so far fetched.

Maybe they were right.

Maybe, the writers were always right.

And maybe we honor the ones we lost who were told they were Wrong.

One thing this gets wrong.
I don't see myself darkly, only they do.

For they are the darkly seers.

In the true Human Heart.

Despite the dark we see.

We see only brightness.

Only. Brightness.

And it won't Ever dim.
