Leadership beyond that title

It is something that is easily believed, leadership positions are always tied to titles or seats and when a person is seated on a big chair, he automatically becomes a leader. For anyone that wants to be a leader I want to let you in on a secret to being good at it, leadership goes far beyond mere positions, it lies in its influence on others.

Being able to encourage and inspire people in your everyday work is what becoming an effective leader really is. You're doing nothing but making others become better versions of themselves because of your presence and that better version can get the group or team's work done better.

In the best case, you should be the reason why someone decided to improve himself and learn some new skills, and even desire leadership itself. In case you are focusing on helping others grow, you can create a lasting mark that will remain even if you are not there. Some leaders are only concerned about their success measured by some numbers and because of that mentality they have, although such a leader achieves great results, they cannot encourage and inspire others, so the other people feel empty and dissatisfied.

There are also leaders who set a good examples and I look up to those people. They usually look energetic and curious and make everyone believe that it is possible to achieve any goal no matter how big or intimidating the goal is. These are the types of leaders that I aspire to be. Such leaders create an environment where everyone feels encouraged and inspired to develop themselves much further than they imagined for themselves before meeting that leader in their life. So being a successful leader would mean you are able to turn a meeting into an opportunity to gain more wisdom.

Please keep this in your heart if you want to be a leader. Success is judged not in terms of how much money you have made, it is important to know whether others managed to improve themselves under your influence. Each move you make is very important because there is always someone looking at you and following your example.
