quiet courage
Many people think that
courage means a loud voice,
or boisterous confrontations,
or grand victories that everyone witnesses.
But the truth is a little different.
There is another kind of courage
that almost no one sees.
The courage to wake up every morning
despite the weariness in your heart.
To keep working
Even when the road ahead feels longer than you expected.
The courage to try again
After an unsuccessful attempt,
And to believe that failure
is not a final judgment on your abilities.
Sometimes courage is
choosing peace
instead of engaging in endless conflicts.
And other times
It's leaving a place that no longer reflects who you are.
Life doesn't always test us with grand battles,
but with the small details
that are repeated every day.
In patience,
In perseverance,
And in our ability to rise
Even when no one applauds us.
For this reason,
the strongest people in this world
are not those who never fall,
but those who learn
how to get back up again
calmly…
with a stronger heart.
And this is true courage:
to keep going
even when silence
is the only thing that accompanies you.

Well written. That said, I certainly don’t hope that anyone actually equates courage with a loud voice or heated arguments. The person who shouts the loudest is neither right nor particularly strong or brave: they’re simply loud.
Thank you for your comment.
I completely agree with you—courage isn't about
raising your voice or being aggressive, but about inner strength and composure.
Sometimes, a quiet presence is the most enduring and profound.
