When the shadow spoke
There was a world unseen by humans, a world that separated light from darkness, called Uralin.
In this world, every person was born with a small light in their heart, but with time, if they succumbed to fear, that light began to fade... and their soul became a shadow.
On the fringes of Uralin lived a boy named Eren, the last remaining light, a light said to have the power to save or destroy the world.
One stormy night, the sky split open, revealing a black gate, and from it emerged the Messenger of Shadows. Something in his voice sounded familiar... He said to Eren: "Uralin will die... unless you choose to sacrifice your light."
The earth froze, and Eren's heart trembled, but suddenly... a faint voice came from within: "Light does not sacrifice... Light spreads."
The boy raised his hand,
and unleashed a tremendous light that filled the sky.
It didn't extinguish the shadows,
but transformed them back into humans.
And when the light faded,
the messenger of the shadows vanished... But before he left,
he said in a broken voice,
"It was me...
if I had given up."
Eren finally understood:
That every human carries within them two possibilities—a light that saves,
and a shadow that awaits defeat.
And on that day,
Oralin was reborn... a city ruled not by light or shadow, but by the balance between them.
