Cutting all those trees
The logging job feels good so I've heard. You clear trees, there's more space, more lumber, more power. The entire canopy goes away.
Now you see the Sun blasting the ground. There's nothing to stop it and to shade every thing in the forest but that includes the one who cut it down. Heat goes up really quick and the ground starts to cracks and there you are. The person who cut down the very last tree, standing in hell wondering what went wrong. That's karma not bad luck.
You cannot cheat physics or what is required for survival on this planet. Trees don’t care about your visions of building nice houses with eco friendly things. They don’t care about your bottom line. When you burn that forest, you burn your own future. The Sunburn, heat stroke, crop failures and drought, these are not warnings from nature, they are the results of you removing the things that sustain you.
I want to admire how arrogant it takes to think the rules don’t apply to you. They do, they always have and will l, centuries after your demise. You still have to live in the world you destroy. There is no baptism to cleanse you when you rip the life from a land. You live there, you breathe the air you spoil and you suffer through heat. Decay doesn’t stay inside of the environment, it roasts you too.
Destroy the only things keeping you alive and your life will be destroyed.

🎉 Congratulations!
