My wisdom level
Am I a wise person or am I a fool? How do I tell which is which. Pretty simple right? The results I show forth, the decisions I take, all my life choices put together determines it.
There are situations where even the wise is caught with his hands tied and forced to make move that looks stupid but for the greater good. A wise doctor performing a surgery finds himself with no choice than to cut off a patient's limb just to save the patient's life. Could the doctor find a better alternative? Not that time and that seemed like the only solution. He's purposely cutting an absolutely ok limb. Is that crazy? But the greater good is that the life of the person is more valuable than that limb.
Wisdom comes with age and experience. The reason I say age is because of the experiences you will go through just being alive for a long time. Somethings you can only know and understand by experience. There are some situations, it is your past mistakes that can tell you exactly what to do right this time. Not going through that past experience is automatic ignorance and that is also automatically making the wrong choice. The only way you'll make the right choice without that past knowledge through experience is if you actually got lucky and somehow made the right choice by mistake or some miracle or probability favoring you.
As you grow your start to have confidence and trust in your own judgement. You know you've been in that situation before and you know what you did wrong. You're confident that you knew choice will give you a better results than in the past.
If there's one interesting thing I've learned about growing and living longer and learning from life, you know you're wiser when you start acknowledging just how little you really know and make yourself so flexible to drop what you believe if the new information is more right or factual.
