Are you ever worried about something too stressful that you can't even sleep at night You're used to overthinking how to address tomorrow’s issues at 2:00 AM because you think it’s a solution. But there’s a different kind of sleepless night. A sleepless night that you are wide awake and wish would last forever.

That’s how you know you’re in true love. Hollywood makes you think love is a big airport sprint or getting soaked in the rain. But in real life love, it’s a lot more discreet than that. It’s the kind of love that makes you stay where you are forever, no matter where else you could go.

People typically use sleep as an escape and that’s why we sleep. A lot of things in life are unmanageable and when that happens, our subconscious mind helps us create something better. There’s always a gap between what we actually have and what we actually want. Creating that something better helps us manage our lives.

Love is better, it’s actually a lot better. When life is that good, you get to love without the need for that escape. It’s that good that you actually want to make life tangible.

Love that good is rare but not that rare. I see a lot of young love like that. The rare one is when it's like that after a decade or two when they've all gotten used to each other.

So, if you are currently exactly how you are and you’re staring up at the ceiling thinking of that person, without wanting to do otherwise, that’s what love is.

So, what sleepless nights actually mean is that real life is better than what you could think of.

Some people have had a sleepless night like this forever, and a lot of people still don’t have it. If you know this like I know this then you have had it for a long time with your sleepless night coming from exactly who you want it to.

Your true love will create a whole new world for you detached from this one.
