Weird Office Situation
Elsa texted her mom while she was at work, and they would chat about so many things. When the chats ended, her mom always wrote drive safe at least that’s what Elsa saw. She quickly typed love you to send to her mom.
Then, she saw she made a mistake when she sent love you to her boss instead of her mom. Her boss, Kay, has always been so serious that he only speaks about work and rarely shows emotions. When she saw her boss was typing a response to her, she automatically assumed she was going to definitely get fired.
Kay sent back an emoji with question marks ❓❔❓. The anxiety was too much for Elsa to tell Kay that she made a mistake by sending love you to him instead of her mom.
After 20 minutes of not getting a response from Kay, Elsa was considering quitting her job and hiding until she decided how she was going to tell Kay what had happened.
When Kay finally replied to Elsa, he just wrote "understood".
This was the end of their relationship as boss and employee for Elsa. She spent the entire day avoiding eye contact with Kay and pretending to be busy at her desk.
At the end of the day, as she was getting ready to leave, Kay walked by her desk and stopped.
Drive safe, that's what he said to her, walking away as if he had been waiting all day to see if he could tell her that he was going to screw with her.
From that point forward, Elsa would never look at her boss the same way again.
