The last thing you'll see is what you're looking for. I'll explain

For me I know it is understandable to feel discouraged when you put a lot of effort into something and then nothing happens as much as you would like and as quickly as you would like. It's frustrating too when you're trying to start a new business or project with tons of energy then after months pass with no sign of progress your mind becomes too fatigued with trying. You may feel that all of your motivation has vanished and at that point, if you're honest with yourself, you may be contemplating stopping trying. Your mind begins to tell you that everything has been a waste, that you're not going to accomplish anything because of the delay between starting and completing projects.

But I've learned something. If you compare this to how trees grow, you should see that life exists and survives on much longer timeframes than we are usually willing to give the "tree" of our life.

The tree breaks ground from dirt and doesn't produce anything to eat until the end of the whole process. To produce good fruit the tree must remain underground to develop its roots before it begins to shoot above the ground to create branches. Even when growing branches, that tree will spend months enduring very challenging weather conditions, all the extreme heat and rain.

Just like how trees grow, you will not see results from building upon foundational things like your life, until after some time has passed without giving any evidence of what you've created.

Now dear friends, just because you do not see results on your foundation doesn't mean there is nothing happening to it.

The banana tree will take a very long time, 7 to 10 months, before it produces a banana. When your resources become exhausted or you are ready to give up, remember, fruits are the last to grow on the tree and so your results will be last so if it's delaying don't worry, Keep doing it.
