El doctor se conmovió ante la fragilidad de la paciente. "Tan joven la muchacha", se dijo para sí. "Ojalá alguien pudiera ayudarla con los medicamentos".

Y llegó la ayuda, provino del mundo virtual, a través de @elkezaksek, quien tiene en Steemit el proyecto de ayudar a la población de Uganda, que tanto necesita un gesto de bondad de parte de todos.

Los invito a cruzar el puente que nos permita dar al necesitado lo que requiere para vivir. No se trata solo de dinero, se trata de solidaridad, de empatía, de fe en la humanidad.

Beatrice walked as usual along the dirt path that led to the cistern that distributed water to the villagers. It was her turn to collect the five liters of water allotted to her for the week.

Her sandals were torn, but they still offered her some protection from the scorching heat rising from the ground. She walked imagining springs of fresh water cascading among giant, green bushes.

"I didn't see it coming, doctor. It was an enormous cow. It knocked me down, and that's when I woke up in the medical clinic room."

The doctor was moved by the patient's fragility. "So young," he said to himself. "I wish someone could help her with her medication."

And help arrived, from the virtual world, through @elkezaksek, who has a project on Steemit to help the people of Uganda, who so desperately need a kind gesture from everyone.

I invite you to cross the bridge that allows us to give those in need what they require to live. It's not just about money; it's about solidarity, empathy, and faith in humanity.
