THE MAN AND HIS DRESS

The content of a man can most times be observed in the way he dresses. It may not expose his honesty or integrity but it will expose his level of dignity, his ability to pay attention to details and his desire for orderliness.
Good grooming should be pursued with a serious intent yet never with dogmatism. It should be a mixture of what you find comfortable and what the societal culture expects from you. Remember that clothes make the person. The clothing we wear speak for us before we present ourselves with our words. If our clothing distracts our audience whatever we say will never register in their minds, all they would be thinking is how we dressed. If it arouse prejudice, then we may have made enemies that we may never find another chance to appease.
The benefit of good grooming is enormous, first it makes you look trust worthy at first glance, thus if you are offering any advice or trying to make a sale you are more likely to pull it off. Another benefit is that it gives you an air of authority and this in turn brews self-confidence.
The truth is that once we are aware of any dent in our grooming, it will definitely distract us from the matters at hand and we are bound to make mistakes. If on the other hand we choose to ignore the flaws others will notice and there is a possibility that they use it against us, thus we lose out on the goal we set out to achieve.
