If you have been reading the story about Marty in our posts, the things that we will tell you today will not be that much of a surprise. We already subtly introduced these features but we are happy to finally be able to announce them officially. After the implementation of the latest upgrade of the battle system, some brand new lovely little things came with it and since we worked on that, why not on user info too?
We have improved the history and are now loading 50 incomings fights and 50 outgoing in comparison to only 25 that we had before. Details are hidden automatically and you have to click to see them. You will see that the information is now much more relevant.
As you can see in the image below, there are two tabs now but additionally, there is also info about it in the left sidebar. Another implementation that will come in handy to a lot of you is the alert system. We will continue working on it but for now, you can start using it as is. If you want, you can switch it off or choose to hear an alert sound when you receive an attack.
With the improved reactivity of the fights, smart alerts, and more detailed and organized info, your fights should be more interesting but also more understandable. You will also notice that when someone attacks you, you will no longer see what units have attacked, only their number.
Where ever you look, you will now see nicknames of users, not their steemit user names. You have the option to change your nickname and your profile photo too if you wish. It is automatically taken from your steemit account until you pick another one. The only time you will use your user name is when you apply for a gang member. When you apply, the boss and the capos of the gang will know your real identity until you are either accepted
or refused.
The anonymity of players will add more mystery to the game but just keep in mind that the mystery will last as long as you allow it. It will depend on your discord activity and on your battle sharing on steemit. For some, it is not about the anonymity at all but about the power to choose your own nickname for this game specifically and maybe even your very own alter-ego.
Marty was a bit surprised that his boss fell asleep while sitting down but his reaction to Marty waking him up was standard.
"And I wasn't sleeping Marty, I was relaxing." the boss took his ledger from Marty and turned it to the first available blank page.
"Of course you were, boss. Of course." Marty rolled his eyes when the boss was not looking.
"How many battles were there in the neighborhood in the last 15 days Marty?"
"900k boss." Marty answered while handing him a pen, "Shouldn't we be worried about the four families that are comming boss?"
"Four families? No. Do not worry about that Marty, everything will be fine. We will be prepared. I need to show you something on my laptop again." The boss quickly scribbled something in his ledger and then showed Marty an image on the screen. Marty often did not understand what the boss was showing him but he needed to see it anyway.
